This 6.5" lift kit for your 2014 - 2018 GMC/Chevrolet 1500 4WD is FMVSS 126 Compliant, and is Made in the USA - and includes heavy duty skid plate. This system includes a pair of heavy duty crossmembers and robust ductile iron steering knuckles engineered to work with the redesigned steering. A 3-piece differential relocation system is utilized to correct front pinion angle with the center differential brace tying front and rear crossmembers together for a sturdy differential mount. This coupled with the differential skid plate and crossmember brace create an incredibly strong front subframe designed to correct suspension geometry while increasing ground clearance. To retain factory ride quality a pair of replacement front strut spacers are used to provide lift, and can be easily installed with no disassembly of the strut. Also included in the kit are a pair of CV spacers, brake line brackets, sway bar relocation, and all the necessary hardware to complete the install. To lift the rear and level the stance a 5" flat block is utilized along with longer u-bolts, brake line bracket and replacement performance shocks. Utilizing FOX's proven damping technology to provide a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling in a variety of conditions, they use a 2" OD steel body construction with a large 5/8" heat treated hard chrome plated shaft for increased strength and durability. The monotube design uses an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen charged gas chamber, preventing fade and provides more predictable and reliable handling in rough terrain. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the inch Cast Steel Control Arm inch kit.
